For the Frosting
  • 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, VERY soft
  • 8 ounces unsalted butter, VERY soft
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla pure extract
  • 6 cups confectioners’ sugar, sifted, more only if needed 
    DIRECTIONS
    • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
    • Cut the butter paper or the parchment paper into 9-inch round segments. In the cake pan place the paper and spray the whole pan with non-stick cooking spray or you can also use ghee to make sure that the cake does not stick to the surface. 
    • In a bowl combine the eggs, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, oil, applesauce, sour cream, vanilla, and spices. Mix them well and combine properly.
