  •       1 cup oil
  •       1 and a half cup buttermilk
  •       2 cup sugar
  •       1 tsp vanilla extract
  •       2 cup maida
  •       1 cup cocoa powder
  •       ¼ tsp baking soda
  •       1 tsp baking powder
  •       ¼ tsp salt
  •       1 tsp coffee powder

  •       2 cup whipping cream
  •       1 cup icing sugar
  •       1 cup cocoa powder
  •       1 tsp vanilla extract
  •       200 grams dark chocolate chips
  •       100 grams whipping cream (hot)

  1.  In a large bowl take 1 cup oil, 1½ cup buttermilk, 2 cup sugar and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Using the whisk and mix it well until the sugar dissolves completely.
  2. Create a mixture of 2 cup maida, 1 cup cocoa powder, ¼ tsp baking soda, 1 tsp baking powder, ¼ tsp salt, and 1 tsp coffee powder.
  3. Take a sieve and pass the powder through it into the large bowl of step – 1. Make sure that the flour is free of lumps.
  4.  Mix it properly and if you find any more lumps, see to it that with the help of whisk they are broken down. Add water if required to make it lump free.
  5. In order to prepare the cake in a pressure cooker, add 2 cups of salt and close the lid of the cooker without keeping the gasket and whistle. Heat it for 5 to 10 minutes to preheat.
  6. Pour the cake batter to a cake mould & make sure to line a butter paper at the bottom to prevent it from sticking.
  7.  Also make sure to remove any air bubbles if present, after pouring the cake.
  8. Place the cake pan into the preheated cooker. Cover it and cook on a medium flame for about 50-55 minutes. If you are using an oven, you can preheat it at 180 degrees and bake for 50-55 minutes.
  9. With a fork check whether the cake has been baked. If baked, let it cool for a few minutes.

Chocolate frosting using cream:

  1. In a large bowl take 2 cups of whipping cream or any cream with 35% milkfat. In it add 1 cup icing sugar, 1 cup cocoa powder and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Beat the mixture for a few seconds and refrigerate it till you need it.
  2. Once the cake cools down, cut it into 2 equal layers from between. Place the bottom layer on a plate and apply the frost, put the other layer on it and again apply the frost on top of it. Refrigerate the cake for 25-30 minutes.
  3. Top it with anything you like, with chips or shredded chocolates.
